As one would hope in a school of this style, Westbrook House enjoys an excellent external examination reputation.
Our policy with regard to the 11+ selection for Grammar Schools is to keep parents fully informed of their child’s academic progress throughout the time with us, so that they have a very clear picture, over the years, of their child’s future potential.
In Form 5 we discuss the situation with each individual set of parents. If there is a reasonable and realistic chance of success, then we support your application. I am proud to tell you that of those pupils we have supported, over the past seven years we have had a 100% success rate.
We also specialise in SCHOLARSHIPS to independent schools. In the current 2005/06 year we have been awarded scholarships to Kent College, Dover College and St Lawrence. One of our pupils was short-listed for a Harrow School scholarship.
